THE ONLY ONE IN THE INDUSTRY! GOODBABY INTERNATIONAL INCLUDED IN S&P GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY YEARBOOK (CHINA EDITION) 2025

On 15 April 2025, S&P Global officially released the "Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025". With its outstanding performance and dedicated efforts in Environment, Social and Governance (“ESG”), Goodbaby International Holdings Limited (HKEX stock code: 1086, “Goodbaby International”) was included in the Yearbook as the only Chinese company in the Leisure Equipment & Products and Consumer Electronics Industry. This embarks another recognition for the Company’s strong competitiveness in ESG as well as its leading position in the juvenile products industry.

S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment(“CSA”) is one of the most influential and credible corporate sustainability assessments in the world. It assesses and scores companies’ information disclosure and performance in relevant topics under Environment, Social and Governance dimensions to reflect their sustainability performance. S&P Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025 aims to identify and recognize Chinese companies that demonstrate sustainable development advantages in their respective industries based on their 2024 CSA performance. This year, more than 1,600 Chinese companies which participated in 2024 CSA were considered for inclusion in the Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025; in the end, around 160 companies with the top performance were included in the Yearbook (China Edition).Goodbaby scored 51 in 2024 CSA, ranking the top 8% among 96 global peer companies assessed in the same industry.

Environment

Goodbaby published its target for Greenhouse Gas (“GHG”) emissions reduction and packaging reduction in 2024. In addition to the identification of climate related risks and opportunities, Goodbaby drives low-carbon operations through energy efficiency improvement and renewable energy utilization. Its installed rooftop Distributed Photovoltaics (DPV) could generate over 6,000,000 kwh renewable energy each year to supply the Company’s China production base, and the company’s office in Germany is 100% supplied by renewable energy. Goodbaby aims to reduce environmental impacts of products across different sections throughout life cycles, including R&D and production. The Company has actively used sustainable materials in some of its products to reduce carbon footprint and keeps exploring to expand such use to more products.

Social

Goodbaby has always been practicing “people-orientation” and building trust through employee care, customer service and community engagement. The Company is dedicated to creating an equal and inclusive working environment: today, over 55% of its total workforce are female. To protect the rights and interests of own employees as well as those of suppliers, Goodbaby has developed “Human Rights Policy” and upgraded “Supply Code of Conduct”. At the same time, the Company constantly improves consumer experience and trust through refined services and safe and quality products. In the area of community engagement, the Group works with different stakeholders to initiate community engagement on topics like child safety and women protection to rally social awareness.

Corporate governance

In its efforts to constantly optimize corporate governance, Goodbaby has developed an ESG governance structure consisting of the Board of Directors, the Group ESG Steering Committee and the ESG Working Groups of our business units.
